Miriam Leisman Rubin taught middle and high school math in the Philadelphia area between 2006 and 2015 with experience in subjects ranging from pre-algebra through pre-calculus. She has Level II instructional certificates in 7-12 Mathematics, 7-12 Social Studies, Middle Years Science, and Middle Years English.

Since 2015, Miriam has worked with a non-profit college access and teacher preparation organization in Philadelphia.

She received her M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania and her B.A. from Scripps College.
